Why centering matters for SGC grading
SGC is one of the longest-running third-party grading companies and grades on a 10-point scale. Centering is assessed alongside corners, edges, and surface to determine the final grade, so a card with strong corners and surface can still be held back by borders that are noticeably off-center.
