Why centering matters for CGC grading
CGC Cards, which grew out of CGC's long-running comic book grading business, evaluates trading cards on a 10-point scale that weighs centering alongside corners, edges, and surface. As with other grading companies, uneven borders can pull an otherwise strong card down a grade or two, so it's worth checking centering before you package a card for submission.
